I think I managed to get the sort of 'late autumn golden sunset look' that I was hoping for, and I think the contrast between the snow white bear in this colourful enviroment works quite well.

East of the Sun, West of the Moon
The first finished illustration for this Norwegian folk tale. This is the bear carrying the youngest away from home to take to his castle. Usual materials used.
I think I managed to get the sort of 'late autumn golden sunset look' that I was hoping for, and I think the contrast between the snow white bear in this colourful enviroment works quite well.
