There is something about hawthorn trees I just love. Evidently, this little guy loves them too!
I used my pitt artists pen this time for the lines, and just a few washes of watercolour over the top.
Another most excellent illustration - I really like what the background texture is doing at the upper left portion of the painting - you also have a great sense for the shapes and architecture of the natural environment. Thanks for the kind words about the WN blog.
